The Missing Celebrates the 25th Episode Press Release

Local Crossville Missing Children’s Web Series Celebrates 25th Episode.

Crossville, TN November 29, 2009: The Missing, an online web series produced in and broadcast from Crossville, TN celebrates their 25th episode.  In twenty five episodes its host Scott Davis, a Crossville resident, has been able to achieve his goals to produce an ongoing web series to assist in gaining exposure for missing children world wide.

With a program whose motto is, Just one more chance, just one more opportunity to help bring home a missing child, he has set out on a mission that he feels is a mission from God.  Hosting The Missing, its host feels that the show was created to be a faith based platform not only to gain exposure for missing children, but a way to be a testimony to his never waving goals to help find missing children and his faith in God.  Davis closes out each episode with “God Bless”.  “This is not a tag line, so to speak”, stated Davis, “It is a feeling that I share with my audience, and I hope that watching our program has blessed them in some way.”  The Missing has touched many individuals, with the views in the thousands on YouTube as well as the series website www.themissing.tv , but none are as important as the families that have watched the program and asked for Davis’ help in locating their missing loved ones or the families that have watched and saw their child being featured and contacted The Missing to say thank you.  “It is very humbling to say the least”, stated Davis, “It is hard to believe that families contact me from around the world and ask for my assistance, I am just a small town guy trying to make a difference.”

Davis has received request from families from right here in Tennessee, New York, Canada and Australia asking for assistance and even has gained exposure for an endangered runaway case from Crossville.

Davis has not done this on his own, from his faith in God, to the support from his family as well as support from local businesses and individuals and the viewers of the program they work together as a team to assist in gaining exposure for missing children in hopes in locating and bringing them home safely.  Locally in the Upper Cumberlands Quizno’s of Crossville, Hughes Real Estate Services, Dr. Stacey Carlton, Cardinal Computers and Tabor Consulting have participated in offering financial and technical support to aide in the goals of The Missing.

Our future goals are to continue to grow and expand our efforts, do more comprehensive investigative coverage of some of the cases that we will feature on our program and work towards producing our program fulltime.  Along with the efforts of their advertisers and sponsors they still have opportunities if other companies or individuals are interested in becoming a part of their campaign.

With the ever growing scope of The Missing, Scott is looking to expand within the community by offering to speak to Churches, organizations and local groups to bring attention to the focus on the importance of gaining exposure for missing children as well as child safety.

“I would like to thank everyone for their support and help in reaching our twenty fifth episode.” said Davis.

Davis is available for interviews and for scheduling speaking arrangements and you can contact him via email at scottdavis@themissing.tv  and you can catch the 25th episode at www.youtube.com/themissingtv
