Tamron 10-24 with Canon EOS 300D

This Tamron 10-24 lens was the second lens that I bought for my Canon EOS 300D DSLR camera. The first one was a Canon 50mm f/1.8 II lens. Comparatively, this lens is very slow when it comes to autofocus and it can be very noisy as well. I notice that this lens hunts more in low-light situation compared to my 50mm as well due to its small and non constant aperture. With that being said, I simply love the 10mm wide focal length. The sharpness of this lens is great on the center but less so on the border which is a characteristic of any ultra wide angle lens. For the price that I paid for this lens though, I am happy with the output of this lens. If you are looking for an affordable semi wide angle lens for a cropped sensor body, then I would recommend this lens for a change.
